Gawker Beats Baseball Analyst's Defamation Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (June 1, 2016, 6:48 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey state judge on Wednesday dismissed with prejudice baseball broadcaster Mitch Williams’ defamation suit against Gawker Media Group Inc. over its 2014 report of his ejection from his son’s little league game, boosting the embattled site’s morale while it fights litigation that threatens to shut its doors.
