Horizon To Pay Chiropractors $33M In ERISA Settlement

Law360, New York (June 21, 2016, 2:05 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Monday preliminarily signed off on a $33 million class action settlement between Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and chiropractors to end claims that the insurer improperly denied benefit claims for chiropractic treatments in violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
