Fox Business Network Files FOIA Suit Against Fed

Law360 (January 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Fox Business Network has filed a lawsuit against the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System under the Freedom of Information Act, seeking the release of information about how billions in federal funds have been distributed under the Fed's lending programs.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday afternoon, details two separate FOIA requests the business news channel says it has filed with the Federal Reserve to little effect.
