Convicted BofA Inside Trader Gets SEC Sanctions

Law360 (January 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has issued sanctions barring Paul Risoli, a Banc of America Securities LLC broker indicted for wire and securities fraud, from engaging with financial services agents.

The sanctions, issued on Tuesday, forbid Risoli from associating with brokers, dealers and investment advisers for a period of three years.

After three years, Risoli can reapply for association with the SEC or relevant agency, according to the SEC.
