Penske Hit With Class Action Over Vacation Policy

Law360, New York (January 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two Penske Corp. companies are facing a proposed class action accusing the transportation giant of violating California labor law with its “use it or lose it” policy of not paying workers for unused vacation days.

Driver and installer Jeff Green brought the suit Thursday on behalf of California workers at Penske Logistics LLC and Penske Truck Leasing Co. LP, according to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
