Ex-SDNY Prosecutor Joins Litigation Boutique MoloLamken

Law360, New York (September 23, 2016, 1:37 PM EDT) -- Litigation boutique MoloLamken LLP has hired a former federal prosecutor who participated in the trial of members of a violent Bronx street gang as a partner in the firm’s New York office.

Jessica Ortiz joined MoloLamken’s New York office as a partner after spending nearly eight years as a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, the last year and eight months as chief of its narcotics unit. Ortiz led 15 jury trials to conviction and also briefed and argued cases before the Second Circuit, the firm said on Wednesday.
