Bombay Co. Trustee Fires Off Suits To Reclaim Cash

Law360 (January 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The liquidation trustee in the Bombay Co. bankruptcy case fired off more than 100 adversary proceedings Thursday seeking the return of millions of dollars transferred during the 90 days prior to the retailer's 2007 Chapter 11 filing.

The filings, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, target a number of well-known defendants, including American Express Co. Inc., Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co. and American Airlines Co.
