IMAX Faces New Courtroom Drama

Law360 (August 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two days after revealing that it was under investigation by the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, IMAX Corp. has been hit with a securities class action lawsuit accusing the movie pioneer of fraud.

The suit was filed on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against IMAX and its top executives, the plaintiffs citing violations of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934.
