Sales Reps Accuse Canon Of Race Bias

Law360, New York (February 11, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Canon USA Inc. is facing a purported class action alleging that it has discriminated against black sales representatives in several of its California outposts.

A group of black sales representatives filed an amended class action complaint on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, alleging that they were denied promotions and subjected to other unfair treatment by the camera manufacturer because of their race.
