NHL HQ Heads To Brookfield Tower On Manhattan's West Side
By Matthew Perlman (December 8, 2016, 2:08 PM EST) -- The National Hockey League has inked a long-term lease agreement to house its headquarters in a new 67-story tower being built on Manhattan's far west side, the developer Brookfield Property Partners LP said Wednesday.
The NHL is taking 160,000 square feet of space on five floors in One Manhattan West, a 2.1-million-square-foot office building that's expected to be complete in 2019, according to a statement from Brookfield. The league has also leased 15,000 square feet of retail space for an NHL store in the Manhattan West development, the statement said.
