Trump Taps Fast-Food CEO As Labor Secretary

Law360, New York (December 8, 2016, 3:58 PM EST) -- President-elect Donald Trump will nominate as his labor secretary Andrew Puzder, the chief executive of the company that operates fast food chains Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. and a former attorney at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth PC. 

Puzder, who obtained a law degree from Washington University School of Law in 1978 and is currently the CEO of CKE Restaurants Holdings Inc., has been tapped by Trump to lead the U.S. Department of Labor after the two men held their second meeting on Wednesday at Trump Tower in New York.
