Justices Won't Hear Appeal Over NFL Head Injury Settlement

By Fola Akinnibi (December 12, 2016, 10:31 AM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused on Monday to take another look at an uncapped settlement between former NFL players and the league that would end a long-running dispute over concussions and head injuries, clearing the way for an agreement that could end up paying out up to $1 billion.
