Salmonella Recall Spreads To Dog Treats

Law360 (February 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- American Nutrition Inc. has opted to voluntarily recall a range of baked dog treats that contain peanut paste supplied by Peanut Corp. of America, whose Georgia plant is believed to be behind the recent salmonella outbreak.

On Wednesday, American Nutrition revealed that the company's Vita Bone Flavors Dog Treats in large, medium and small had all been recalled as well as a host of other products including vita snacks peanut butter and farm style assorted dog biscuits.
