MoFo's McElhinny Retiring, Withdraws From Repping Apple

Law360, New York (December 20, 2016, 8:25 PM EST) -- Morrison & Foerster LLP’s Harold J. McElhinny is stepping down from serving as lead counsel for Apple in its ongoing battle with Samsung because he is retiring, the prominent intellectual property attorney told the Northern District of California on Tuesday.

McElhinny told Law360 on Tuesday that while his retirement after 40 years as an attorney officially goes into effect on Dec. 31, Tuesday was his last day in the office.
