Judge Refuses To OK Uber's Unpopular $8M PAGA Deal

Law360, Los Angeles (March 10, 2017, 11:12 PM EST) -- A California judge on Friday tentatively rejected an Uber driver’s bid to scrap his class claims and settle Private Attorney General Act allegations that Uber misclassified drivers as independent contractors, asking for additional information including whether other PAGA plaintiffs can air their objections to the $7.75 million deal.
