Telemundo Sues Over World Cup Qualifier Broadcast Rights

Law360, New York (March 14, 2017, 4:15 PM EDT) -- The Spanish-language television network Telemundo accused two Florida companies of tortious interference in a Tuesday complaint in federal court, alleging they recently tried to sell it the broadcast rights to qualifying soccer games leading up to the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups that Telemundo already owned.
