Quest Tries To Sink Data Breach Class Action Over Standing

Law360, Newark (April 6, 2017, 5:41 PM EDT) -- Quest Diagnostics Inc. urged a New Jersey federal court Wednesday to toss a putative class action over a November data breach affecting the personal information of about 34,000 customers, saying the incident did not increase the lead party's risk of identity theft since the stolen material was already publicly available.
