Bankrupt Cancer Treatment Co. Seeks Stay For Nondebtor

Law360, New York (July 3, 2017, 6:18 PM EDT) -- Global cancer treatment center operator 21st Century Oncology has asked a New York bankruptcy judge to extend its automatic Chapter 11 litigation stay to protect a nondebtor affiliate from pending claims over a data breach that affected more than 2.2 million patients' personal information.

Taking precautionary measures, 21st Century Oncology Holdings Inc. on Friday asked to bring nondebtor 21st Century Oncology of California under its bankruptcy litigation shield until the insolvent entities confirm a prearranged reorganization plan that would chop their $1.1 billion debt load in half....
