Charter Communications Facing Another TCPA Suit In Calif.

By Sophia Morris (July 7, 2017, 6:49 PM EDT) -- Charter Communications was hit with yet another proposed class action in California federal court Thursday, with a San Bernardino County resident accusing the company of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by making automated robocalls to his phone without his consent.

Steve Gallion alleges that he received a call on his cellphone from Spectrum Communications that was placed using an automatic dialing machine. He claims he has never been a customer of Charter Communications Inc., which does business as Spectrum, and therefore was never able to consent to receiving calls from the company.
