Ex-FIFA Official Loses Bid To Unseal Search Warrants

Law360, New York (July 17, 2017, 4:48 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Friday denied a bid by the former head of the South American soccer confederation for the release of search warrants and their supporting affidavits that prosecutors have kept sealed in the FIFA corruption case, finding the government has shown compelling reasons to keep them sealed until three months before trial.
