Oppenheimer Investors Vie For Lead Plaintiff Status

Law360, New York (April 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Investors accusing OppenheimerFunds Inc. of misrepresenting the risks associated with one of its mutual funds are vying for lead plaintiff status, having asked a federal judge to consolidate three putative class actions.

On Tuesday, five candidates filed bids for lead plaintiff status alongside requests for consolidation of the related actions lodged February and March in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
