Songkick Seeks To Sanction Ticketmaster For Withheld Docs
Law360, New York (October 17, 2017, 9:12 PM EDT) -- Songkick asked a California federal court on Monday to sanction Ticketmaster LLC and Live Nation Entertainment Inc. over their late production of thousands of discovery documents two months before trial in its lawsuit over their alleged monopoly on ticket sales.
Songkick, a concert ticketing startup that has recently ceased business, said Ticketmaster and Live Nation "withheld a treasure trove of documents until the eleventh hour," producing 26,080 documents during discovery, but adding an additional 4,000 in September, six months after the discovery cutoff and after the parties had exchanged initial pretrial disclosures.
