NLRB Must Revisit Union, Golf Co. Dispute: 9th Circ.

Law360 (April 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has overturned a National Labor Relations Board decision that found one of the country's largest golf course companies had not engaged in unfair labor practices when it turfed a union from the collective bargaining process after negotiations stalled.

A three-judge panel in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled in favor of the Laborers International Union of North America, Local 872 on Monday when it remanded the case to the NLRB for further proceedings.
