Law360, New York (November 8, 2017, 8:57 PM EST) -- Facebook Inc. says the Internal Revenue Service is unjustly denying its right to appeal the agency’s decision to adjust its taxes following an audit of its 2008 to 2010 tax years, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in California federal court.
The social media giant claims that the denial of the appeal may be retaliation for Facebook’s refusal to voluntarily extend the statute of limitations for a sixth time.
