Nissan, Drivers Reach Deal In Timing-Chain Defect Suit

Law360, New York (December 4, 2017, 1:40 PM EST) -- Nissan North America Inc. agreed Friday in California federal court to partially reimburse drivers who claimed the automaker concealed a defectively designed timing chain tensioning system, allocating costs to repair the component or offering a voucher toward the purchase of a new car.
