Judge Puts Titan On Auction Block

Law360, New York (September 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Setting bankrupt Titan Financial Group LLC’s proceedings on the fast track, a judge has cleared the way for the company to auction its assets and use $9.6 million in debtor-in-possession financing.

Judge Mary Grace Diehl made the decisions Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The Atlanta, Ga.-based consumer lender, which filed for bankruptcy Sept. 3, is still inviting offers for its Oct. 3 auction.
