Dallas Prosecutor Fired After Alleged Uber Altercation

Law360, New York (November 14, 2017, 3:31 PM EST) -- A Dallas County assistant district attorney has been fired after an Uber driver accused her of drunkenly hitting and berating him, accusing him of kidnapping her, and abusing her position by threatening to have him fired.

Dallas District Attorney Faith Johnson said in a statement Monday that although no charges have been filed, she has decided to fire Assistant DA Jody Warner after an investigation into the incident with driver Shaun Platt because her behavior was “contrary to this office’s core principle of integrity.”
