NY Unions Attack Construction Firm's Ch. 11 Claim Objections

Law360 (April 11, 2018, 10:13 PM EDT) -- A group of construction worker unions representing employees of Navillus Tile Inc. argued Wednesday that the bankrupt New York-based contractor must prioritize some of their wage claims, saying they can be easily substantiated with documentation.

Local 46 Cement and Concrete Workers and Local 282, among multiple unions whose wage claims Navillus has objected to, told a court that the company is wrong to say the workers’ wage claims aren’t well documented, and they listed the evidence they would use to black their claims up.
