Deals Rumor Mill: Weinstein, Essential Properties, SoftBank

Citing anonymous sources, the outlet reported that the firm lobbed a $310 million offer for the embattled studio. The report comes the same day plaintiffs suing the company and its ousted founder threw their weight behind producer Howard Kagan's $315 million bid that would include a $30 million settlement fund for women with harassment claims against Weinstein....
