According to the report, which cites a Financial Times article, the effort is part of Uber's bid to cut costs before it goes public. According to the Times' anonymous sources, Reuters reports, Uber could spin off the Advanced Technologies Group unit but would keep operational control. The report comes the day after the Wall Street Journal reported that proposals have valued the ride-hailing giant at a whopping $120 billion in its highly anticipated initial public offering....
