Sony Ericsson, HTC, Acer Face IP Suit Over Diary Technology
E-Contact Technologies LLC sued Acer America Corp., HTC America Inc., Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (USA) Inc. and others in Texas federal court Friday, claiming that Android smartphones like Acer's Liquid E, HTC's Hero and Sony Ericsson's Xperia X8 infringe a personal computer diary patent.
