Wolf Haldenstein Tapped To Lead Curaleaf Stock Drop Suit

Law360 (November 6, 2019, 7:28 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday named Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP as lead counsel in a consolidated investor lawsuit against cannabis company Curaleaf, after several firms initially placed bids to lead the litigation.

The last two firms that had been vying for the lead filed a stipulation earlier this week saying they agreed that Wolf Haldenstein's client should be the case's lead plaintiff, after he claimed he lost more than $55,000 because Curaleaf Holdings Inc. failed to disclose it was illegally marketing CBD products as new drugs without approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
