Delta Tells 5th Circ. Southwest Can't Evict It From Dallas

Law360, Dallas (June 9, 2016, 3:28 PM EDT) -- Delta Air Lines and the city of Dallas on Wednesday told the Fifth Circuit that Delta has a right to continue a limited flight schedule from gates leased by Southwest Airlines at an in-demand, close-to-downtown airport under federal law requiring accommodation of new entrants.

In briefs, both Delta Air Lines Inc. and Dallas urged the Fifth Circuit to keep intact a preliminary injunction in Delta's favor, requiring Southwest Airlines Co. to accommodate five daily Delta flights from Love Field Airport.
