Comcast Prevails In Sports Network Dispute At FCC

Law360 (March 8, 2018, 6:07 PM EST) -- Comcast prevailed Wednesday in a dispute with Wave Broadband over the carriage of regional sports networks when the Federal Communications Commission found that Wave had lobbed its challenge too late and through the wrong avenue.

The decision shuts down a complaint in which cable provider Wave claimed three Comcast-owned NBC broadcast units had undercut its viewer subscriber base with online distribution methods while still requiring the same viewership percentage from Wave.
