Uber Settles 2 Class Actions With Drivers For Up To $100M

Law360, New York (April 21, 2016, 11:04 PM EDT) -- Uber Technologies Inc. said late Thursday it had settled two closely watched class actions with its drivers in California and Massachusetts for as much as $100 million, agreeing that the drivers will remain classified as independent contractors rather than employees.
