Sen. Warren Would Fuel Green Energy Plan With Tax Breaks

Law360 (September 4, 2019, 1:55 PM EDT) -- New green energy tax credits would be created and existing incentives would be expanded to achieve energy efficiency goals set forth in a climate change plan recently released by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

Warren, who is running for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, said the tax breaks would encourage businesses and individuals to meet green energy goals laid out in her plan released Tuesday, which would have the U.S. producing all of its electricity in renewable fashion with zero emissions by 2035.
