9th Circ. Won't Rethink Ruling In Tribal Casino Row

Law360, New York (January 11, 2018, 8:29 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday ruled that it won't rethink a panel decision backing a lower court’s support of the U.S. Department of the Interior's decision to take land into trust for a proposed Ione band of Miwok Indians casino.

In brief orders, the panel denied a petition for panel and en banc rehearing from No Casino in Plymouth and the Citizens Equal Rights Alliance and also denied an en banc rehearing bid from Amador County, California.
