House Passes Bill To Fund Gov't Through September

Law360, Washington (May 3, 2017, 4:13 PM EDT) -- The House of Representatives passed a $1.1 trillion spending deal to fund the government through September with bipartisan support Wednesday, sending the measure for a vote by the Senate before funding runs out on Friday.

The largely bipartisan, 309-118 vote will provide funding for the remainder of the fiscal year, which runs through the end of September. The deal follows high-profile fights over funding for the Affordable Care Act and President Donald Trump's proposed border wall with Mexico.
