11th Circ. Won't Rethink Toss Of Chipotle Patron's GMO Suit

By Carolina Bolado (November 14, 2017, 10:01 PM EST) -- The Eleventh Circuit declined Tuesday to reconsider its decision affirming the dismissal of a Florida woman's proposed class action alleging that Chipotle lied about using genetically modified ingredients in its food.

The appeals court denied Leslie Reilly's request to rehear her case after it ruled last month that she suffered no actual loss and could not show that she was harmed by the chain's advertising.
