Booze Distributor Settles DOL's Race Bias Claims

Law360, New York (January 10, 2017, 3:43 PM EST) -- A liquor distribution company that contracts with the federal government has agreed to pay $175,000 and to extend 13 job offers to settle allegations that it discriminated against hundreds of African-Americans seeking to work at a Louisiana warehouse, the U.S. Department of Labor announced on Monday.
