Airlines Say WTC Owners 9/11 Losses Covered By Insurers

Law360, New York (July 16, 2013, 4:14 PM EDT) -- An expert witness for a group of airlines on Tuesday defended the airlines' attempt to avoid paying as much as $3.5 billion to recoup financial losses suffered by World Trade Center property owners in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, testifying in New York that those losses have already been covered by billions in insurance payments.
