9th Circ. Dismisses Class Actions Over Slave Labor Labeling

Law360 (July 10, 2018, 9:38 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Tuesday shut down six separate but related proposed consumer class actions alleging that a handful of candy and pet food companies weren’t disclosing on their labels that child slave labor is used in their supply chains, tying up loose ends left after a June decision rejecting the claims.
