Sprint Sues Telecoms Over VoP Patent Infringement

Law360 (March 8, 2018, 6:40 PM EST) -- Sprint filed a trio of patent lawsuits in Delaware federal court Wednesday targeting major U.S. cable operators and providers of telecommunications services it says have infringed patents covering Voice-over-Packet technology that facilitates phone calls.

The three lawsuits against WideOpenWest Inc., Atlantic Broadband Finance LLC, TPG Global LLC and their subsidiaries and companies under their control each name the same 15 patents, from a family of more than 120 patents that Sprint Communications Co.
