Grumpy Cat Denied Attys' Fees In 'Grumppuccinos' IP Claim
Law360 (August 22, 2018, 4:15 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday said holders of the rights to "Grumpy Cat" copyrights and trademarks were not entitled to attorneys' fees on infringement claims against a company marketing "Grumppuccinos" and other coffee products, as the defendants had not acted in bad faith when selling merchandise featuring the cat-turned-meme.
