Google Slams Oracle Expert's Damages Report In IP Row

Law360, San Diego (February 17, 2012, 9:56 PM EST) -- Google Inc. on Friday urged a California federal court to strike portions of the third damages report by an Oracle America Inc. expert in Oracle’s intellectual property suit over Google’s Android smartphone operating system, contending that it was “riddled with fatal errors.”

The report by Iain Cockburn offers two approaches to assess damages for Google’s alleged infringement of Oracle’s Java programming patents and copyrights.
