Judge Puts Brakes On 'Premium Rush' Copyright Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (April 3, 2013, 5:17 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday rejected allegations that Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. implicitly promised to pay a writer for adapting his novel into the film “Premium Rush” and infringed the book’s copyright, saying the claims couldn’t pass muster.
