Trade Secret Suit Against Defense Co. Sent To Arbitration

Law360, New York (June 19, 2013, 7:24 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts federal judge Wednesday tossed a thermal systems company's trade secret and contract suit against defense contractor General Dynamics Land Systems Inc. over a heating system for an armored combat vehicle, ruling that the companies must arbitrate the dispute.

U.S. District Judge Timothy S. Hillman granted General Dynamic's motion to compel arbitration and dismiss the action, finding that Infinity Fluids Corp.'s misappropriation and breach of contract claims fell within the scope of arbitration language in a purchase order and proprietary data agreement signed by both companies.
