WWE, Take-Two Slammed For Wrestler's Tattoos In Game

By Bonnie Eslinger (April 18, 2018, 2:48 PM EDT) -- A tattoo artist hit World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and others with a copyright infringement suit in Illinois federal court Tuesday, claiming several of the "WWE 2K" video games portray the distinctive tattoos she's done on professional wrestler Randy Orton.

Plaintiff Catherine Alexander says in her suit that between 2003 and 2008, she tattooed several original designs on Orton, a 13-time world champion professional wrestler for WWE. In particular, an updated and altered upper back tribal tattoo on Orton is her original work, the suit states.
