NY Regulator Slams Facebook For Not Curbing Data Sharing

Law360 (February 18, 2021, 10:44 PM EST) -- Facebook has failed to do enough to block third-party apps from sending it health data and other sensitive information, New York's financial services regulator concluded in a report released Thursday that called on Facebook to more aggressively police these practices and pushed state lawmakers to enact strong consumer privacy rules.
