Deals Rumor Mill: Intel, Kik Interactive, Holcim

By Benjamin Horney (April 9, 2015, 5:53 PM EDT) -- Talks on a deal that would see California-headquartered semiconductor chipmaker Intel Corp. acquire fellow technology company Altera Corp. have ceased, after the two companies could not agree on a price tag, Reuters reported Thursday. The two sides had reportedly been engaged in discussions since at least late March. The deal would have been Intel's "largest takeover ever," according to previous reports that pegged Altera's worth at more than $10 billion....
